Burglary in Telford – £40,000 Worth of Property Stolen

The Shropshire Star recently reported on a burglary at a property in Telford. A substantial hoard was stolen from the house on Weavers Rise in Ketley Grange, Telford. Electrical appliances and Jewellery with a value of more than £40,000 were taken at some point between 12:30pm and 6:30pm on 9th June this year.

According to police reports, the burglars entered the home via the back door. Upon entering the home, the thieves snatched various items of jewellery including a ruby bracelet, a white gold diamond bracelet, a miniature boxing glove pendant with diamonds,  a tanzanite ring and a Gucci bracelet. Twenty different watches including one that is only available in America were also stolen. The unusual watch is described as an Invicta brand, that is made from gold and white rubber.

The electrical devices that were taken include a black iPad 4, a white and a black iPad 2, a black HTC mobile, a Galaxy 4s, three iPhone 5s, a Sony laptop, an Apple Macbook laptop, a Nintendo WII console and various games and an unusual orange Olympus underwater camera.

Three men that had been witnessed riding quad motorbikes prior to the crime happening, are wanted by the police for questioning. They are all described as being in their twenties and white.
