National Home Security Month Sponsored by Yale
October sees the annual scheme ‘National Home Security Month’ (NHSM) return. The program, sponsored by Yale, concentrates on different aspects of home security each week. Starting on 28th September and running all through October, the five different subjects covered over the coming weeks will be:
Week 1 – National Home Security Month:
Hints and tips for keeping your family, home and possessions safe.
Week 2 – Lock it up!
Invaluable advice regarding keeping your windows and doors as secure as possible.
Week 3 – Keep it protected:
Looking at keeping all of your valuables safe at home. Advice ranging from looking after your photographs, to the safest methods of storing jewellery.
Week 4 – The great outdoors:
Helpful advice for securing your sheds and garages etc. Additional information will be available for securing the exterior of your home.
Week 5 – Smart Home Security:
The latest security gadgets available to purchase will be investigated in the final week of the scheme.
