Other tactics include recordings of your telephone conversations to attempt to extort payments, when you do not wish to proceed with the works after initially booking. These outfits know and try every trick in the book, they operate nationally and are rife throughout Shropshire with unskilled Locksmiths willing to drive into Telford & Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Market Drayton from 50-70+ miles away.

It’s simple to protect yourselves from being over charged, ask to speak to a locksmith and NOT a call centre. Remember, legally you are not obliged to pay even 1 penny, if all you have done is request a locksmith over the phone!
